The process for a typical PRP injection starts with our technician drawing a sample of your blood. We spin your blood in our centrifuge where it separates the platelets from the other components. The platelets are removed from the vial and are then injected into the problem areas on your scalp. This entire process takes less than 1 hour from start to finish. After the process is complete, most patients are free to resume normal activities without any restrictions.
